General Admissions Philosophy

At Nature’s Nook, our admissions process is rooted in respect for the child, for the family, and for the unique rhythm of each learning community. We believe it is essential for families to find a school that aligns with their values and their child’s developmental needs. While we welcome all who are interested, we acknowledge that Nature’s Nook Preschool may not be the best fit for every family.

We encourage prospective families to tour our campus, observe our Montessori-inspired classrooms in action, and engage in thoughtful conversations with our team. Our goal is to present our program with honesty, integrity, and transparency so families can make informed decisions.

In keeping with our Montessori-inspired philosophy, we seek to thoughtfully accommodate children with unique needs whenever possible while upholding the integrity of the classroom community. In rare cases, Nature’s Nook may determine that our program is not the right match for a child’s needs. In such instances, we will work compassionately with families to support a transition to a more suitable program.
